HKS (Healthy, Kind Support) Accountability Group November 14th

Good Tuesday morning! We had some snow last night and it stuck to grassy surfaces. As long as the roads and sidewalks are not icy, I’m fine with a bit of snow at this time of year.

I saw the image above a couple of weeks ago and it was a great reminder for me that reaching a goal is almost never linear. It’s not always “pretty” and sometimes you regress before making progress. I needed that reminder at that moment in time and I’m sharing it with anyone who needs it at the moment.

So far this month, I am meeting my goal of walking at least 1km each day. I will adjust my goal mid-month (tomorrow) to increase the distance to at least 1.5km per day. I’m hoping to get in more evening walks with my husband, to go look at Christmas lights together. Loki sure loves the extra walking time.

I’m taking my time this morning to get my day started. I am enjoying another slow work week, as 2 of my 3 managers are on vacation this week. I actually had time to complete 2 projects yesterday, the kind that are not urgent and always get pushed back. I’ll work on another project today. I can feel a difference in my stress level from not having hard deadlines to meet and work not piling up. I’m sure meditating almost daily is helping as well.

Enjoy a wonderful day everyone! 🙂
