Trade Mission

BUSINESS AND INVESTORS' TRADE MISSION (AUSTRALIA AND AFRICA)

Welcome,

INBOUND MISSION PROPOSAL AND COLLABORATION

The World Youth Empowerment Association (WYEA) Incorporated wishes to engage the collaboration of your organization in our Business and Investors' Trade Mission program. Particularly, WYEA is looking forward to welcoming your government or industry group(s) to Australia for trade promotions, networking and capacity building.

According to the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Steven Smith, “The growth of Australian investment in Africa....has been impressive. There are now over 300 Australian companies active across Africa, with current and prospective investment estimated at approximately US$20 billion.” We believe that, this impressive forecast sets a tone for the African government and private sector professionals to proactively take steps in tapping into these huge investment prospects.

Indeed, the purpose of the inbound visit is to showcase the business and investment opportunities available in your country to investors and business prospectors in Australia. The inbound mission also serves as a platform to foster possible bilateral agreements -- as industry representatives from your country can meet with similar industry professionals in Australia, such as: Captains of Industries, CEOs, Heads of Government Departments, Analysts and Business Development Managers -- with a view to increasing productivity and optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their industries.

In addition,  we can organize a customized program that is specifically tailored towards meeting delegates' knowledge and skills transfer needs. These customized programs include effective capacity building and professional development workshops, seminars, site tours and networking forums. Our customized program will yield high dividends to Attendees, as the delegation will gain new ideas, learn about latest technologies and develop resourceful friendships.

By visiting and leveraging on WYEA Executives’ knowledge of the Australian market and society, the delegation will increase their chances of achieving best outcome from the inbound mission.  Also, to optimize outcome, in South Australia, we will be collaborating with a host of key government and private sector organizations in welcoming the inbound delegation. Furthermore, depending on budget and time available to the delegation; WYEA can organize to host the delegates in the six states and two territories of the commonwealth of Australia.

In Australia, professional development  and capacity building opportunities are available in the following sectors and among others: tourism; mining; agriculture and agro-allied products, raw materials (import and export);  health;  education; computers and information technology; infrastructural development; housing and urban planning; environmental management; defence; policing, crime prevention and investigation technologies;  alternative energy - wind, solar and thermal.

In response to the critical needs and strategic plans of your government or industries, the core benefit of the inbound mission is increasing  overall organizational growth.

I look forward to receiving an expression of interest from your government or industry group(s) in order to commence the mobilization of relevant stakeholders in Australia.

Kind regards.

Sincerely,

John Nze-Bertram

President

WYEA International

Short summary of WYEA’s tactical procedure

for hosting an inbound trade delegation in South Australia or Australia

First, is for WYEA Secretariat to receive an expression of interest from the relevant government or industry group indicating their willingness to visit South Australia for a trade related activity. In the expression of interest, they will indicate the purpose of the visit, areas of interest, numbers of delegates - who they are and what they do.

Secondly, with the expression of interest letter, WYEA will commence the mobilization of stakeholders within the government and private sectors in South Australia or Australia; and map strategic plans, specific to the expectations of the visiting VIPs.

Thirdly, WYEA Secretariat, in collaboration with strategic partners, will work out a budget and arrange the itinerary for the visiting trade delegation. The budget costs are paid by the visiting delegation pre-arrival and will include the following: Hotel accommodation and meals, pre-event arrangements and public relations activities, and other contingency costs.

Furthermore, WYEA Secretariat will arrange and follow up with a delegate’s visa application at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.

Finally, on arrival of the delegation:  WYEA Secretariat will arrange for pickup at airports; check in at hotels; and will serve as general guide to meetings and tours.

The benefit of an inbound trade visit to South Australia is enormous as you will meet with a substantial number of local businesses prospecting for viable overseas market. Also, your competitive advantage will increase, as a result of  innovative ideas from engaging with world best service industry practitioners in sectors including: tourism; mining; agriculture and agro-allied products, raw materials (import and export);  health;  education; computers and information technology; infrastructural development; housing and urban planning; environmental management; defence; policing, crime prevention and investigation technologies;  alternative energy - wind, solar and thermal.

INBOUND Trade Mission to South Australia

We will be collaborating with the Chambers of Commerce and a host of other organizations in hosting a trade delegation visiting South Australia.

Australia Wide Inbound Trade Mission
WYEA can also assist African Countries in organizing an Australia wide trade visit; hosting delegates in the six states and two territories of the commonwealth of Australia.

OUTBOUND Trade Mission to African Countries:

Purpose

The purpose of an outbound trade mission to African countries is to link South Australian investors and businesses to the opportunities available in the respective African countries and also, foster  possible multilateral business opportunities that can benefit the countries  and South Australia.
